Reasons to Consider Liposuction:

  • To eliminate hard-to-lose fat from the upper arms, stomach, waistline, thighs, buttocks, chin, neckline, upper arms, and knees.
  • Create a more streamlined, better proportioned silhouette.

The Liposuction Procedure

During the liposuction procedure, a small incision is made in the skin under general or local anesthesia, after which a narrow tube called a “cannula” is inserted to suck out fatty tissue. Depending upon the amount of fat to be extracted and number of areas treated, the procedure may last up to two hours.

With various liposuction procedures to choose from, as well as many recent advancements in this technology, your surgeon will be happy to discuss with you which techniques and procedures will help you best achieve your ultimate goals.

Preparation & Post Operative Care for Liposuction

Prior to surgery, you’ll be provided detailed information on how to prepare for your procedure.  Tailored specifically to you and your needs, your doctor’s advice will help you take the necessary steps towards what lies ahead, while laying the foundation for a successful outcome.

Our specialists know that it’s only natural to experience a degree of anxiety prior to surgery.  That’s why you can always feel free to ask any question of anyone, at any time.  We believe that knowledge and confidence go hand-in-hand.

Post Operative Care and Recovery

Post-operative care includes bandaging the incisions and utilizing a surgical support (sling) which is worn for the first few weeks.  Patients suffering minor pain are provided oral medication.
