Eyelid Surgery Boston: No More Tired-Looking Eyes

Age, diet, lifestyle, and the sun can all make the eyes appear puffy and tired.  Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is a procedure performed on the upper and lower eye lids to eliminate excess skin and bagging from under the eyes.  At our Boston practice, we often performs this procedure in tandem with other facial procedures such as a facelift or nose surgery to attain a more youthful, over-all refreshed appearance.  To schedule a free eye surgery consultation at our Boston office, call 631-473-7070.

Reasons to Consider Boston Eyelid Surgery:

  • The effects of time and lifestyle.
  • Bags under the eyes.
  • Eyes always looking tired and puffy.
  • Excessive skin on upper eyelids.

The Boston Eyelid Surgery Procedure

During this procedure, tiny incisions are made along the natural contours around the eyes after which the surgeon will remove fatty tissue and tighten loose skin on the upper lid, with lower lids treated to eliminate puffiness.  This method typically leaves no visible scarring.  In some cases, laser technology may also be utilized to smooth lower eyelid areas, or Botox injections used to further reduce wrinkles.

At out Boston office, surgery usually requires less than two hours and is performed on an outpatient basis.  If additional cosmetic procedures are being performed, additional time will be allotted.
